Blue, pink and white
These are my colors
This is my flag
They are displayed with pride
I will stand strong
I will be strong
For these colors
Always will be me
When they hate us
When they mock us
Ridicule us
These colors will will fly
When they spread lies
Accuse with lies
Condemn with lies
This flag is our truth
I'll wield my flag
Like a sledgehammer
Against hatred
To protect my own
I won't back down
Like a warrior
I will not fear
Our colors are true
About this poem
I was inspired to write this poem from 2 incidents that recently occurred. One was when I purchased my first Trans Pride flag. For those not familiar with the Trans Pride flag it has 5 stripes on it. The colors of the stripes from top to bottom is blue,pink,white,pink,blue.
