Physically
I’m cutting
And hurting
And bleeding
And harming
Myself.
Mentally
I’m killing myself
Over and over again
In my head.
Socially
I act like I’m okay
And I smile and laugh
And talk like nothing’s ever wrong.
Emotionally
I try not to cry
When I’m around other people,
But when I’m alone,
I can never seem to get my tears out.
I hide it all inside
Like I’m doing just fine,
But I’m lying
And I’m dying inside,
But that’s just my life every day.
