Beyond Repair

A vessel wrapped in cheap plastic
Damaged beyond repair
Thoughtful destruction
Life can be fair
Take out the trash
Clear the air
For this is over, all despair
They say it mustn’t happen; it happened anyway
Nothing more important than to go on another day
