Through my eyes

Larry Shelton 1967 (Richlands)

Unimaginable visions rushing in
Processing the scenes, only then
Will you see the things that I see
Then, you'll know what it's like to be me
Through my eyes, I see emotions
Fears, hurt, pain, love, and devotion
In a lifetime of mindful travel
My brain will never unravel
The sights that I've seen
Cinematic detailed vivid and graphic
Racing thoughts, signals, and traffic
Attempt to control my every move
Sorting through things, I disprove
Millions of colors, shapes, and objects
Become projects of space and time
Appearance, emergence, and arrivals climb
Reaching places I've never been
My brain begins to spin
In an instance, stopping to think
A connection and relation provide a link
Of a life that I've been living
Through my eyes, I have given
All of me, all the time
Countless loyalties of my mind
