My Kids (And G-kids)

All my kids. I’ve got six
I find myself in quite the fix
four of my loins, plus two more
that belong to the woman that I adore

William, the oldest, nearing 41
in trouble, he got, because of “too much fun”
aside from that, children three
we pray, OK, my wife and me

Next is Kandice, a beautiful blonde
for a short time we had quite the bond
as father and daughter as close as should be
she’s settled now, with her beau, now there’s three

Jared is the oldest of mine
started out troublesome, but now he’s fine
he’s got a family now totaling five
one boy, four girls, man alive

The next in my brewed is my Shelly Denise
I wasn’t there to offer her peace
but she’s turned out OK, her Mama done well
two children from her, and she silenced that bell

Then Amber Lynn came in the rush of a wind
another connection I’m trying to mend
more grand-children from her, she gave us three
children I love to go and see

My Kayla Marie is the last in this list
then the water cut off, if you get my gist
g-kids from her are yet none
maybe some day she’ll have a bun

It’s time now for this ryme to end
but to them, all my love I send
my children know this I love you all the same
for, in trueth, it is you that keeps me sane
