breathe

I want peace, no more self-doubt, no more questioning
Tired by these betrayals and participating in these games
I feel wounded as if there’s no escape out of here
People are drifting away, like the winds do to the sand
Yes, the past was a horrendous one
Yes, I have put people through blue
But do I fix it or leave it
Enlighten it, or blow the candle, trying to find a way through the dark
I’m exhausted by these emotions, the way they hail the unnecessary
Feels like I can't take any control of it, and I’m drowning again
Yes it's me, it always has to be me
I blow things out of proportions, to get to conclusions
Maybe when I’ll drown, and there will be no one to see
Maybe in the dark, by screaming my needs to be
Maybe I’ll finally breathe.
