Beautiful Curse

Love can be the most beautiful thing
It causes happiness where there was emptiness
Life in something broken
Emotion in something numb
And it makes everything else feel worthwhile
Even through the mud and the rain
But when the one you loves turns to you in hate
It causes all of that to wash away
As you feel nothing but torture
From what it caused
As sorrow and pain barrage your mind
You start to feel the will to make it all go away
And end this torture, that grows worse with each day
And leave everything behind, as you want to escape
