compression fracture
broken dreams

Minutes uncounted
hours unnamed
 Humptiest Dumpty
in pieces again

Yahweh once spoken
reason besieged
tokens in exile
pagans to grieve

One for the money
two when it’s shown
oracle harlot
—cursed and dethroned
