A bad day

It's a day the Lord has made
It's beautiful in chaos
Daybreak is still gloomy
Even after prayer
It's still stormy
Dawn, still drowning
Cares and worries
On a serious low
Laying on the seabed
Canaan, we are back at the red sea
Whining, crying, complaining, it's temping
Egypt, could be drinking, but it's a desert
Where's the milk and honey, the dessert
Is this the Lord's day
Or the devil's doom day
Did I hear you say come,
Cause I'm now drowning
My Egyptians are still here
Seven times more
Dressed in different coats

I walk through the valley
Shadowed by death
In the presence of enemies
I hear the devil's whisper
Job's friends and wife
But you've already said
Find joy dear child
Rejoice, I say rejoice
Life's more than possessions
We're birthed naked, better we die so
Clothed with faith, love and hope
Breathe praises from the life in your lungs
For this is the day the Lord has made
His grace is sufficient through affliction
His strength is perfected in weakness
What can separate us from the love of the Lord
