The empty souls of students
We walk through these halls with no intention
The walls echo our hopeless thoughts
We go through these seas of other souls
to get to a draining room full of people we don't really know
We torture ourselves for 4 years just to become doctors, scholars, Yale graduates, athletes
We stay up till 3 am just for an English essay on Shakespeare
We go day by day feeling nothing yet everyone expects everything
This place that was once long ago filled with smiling faces and freedom has been turned into a prison
From 7:15 to 2:46 I am not me I am the student they made me out to be
I am a slave to my work
Instead of being a slave to life.

It's about how draining and horrible school is for your mental health and how schools don't do anything about it.
