Looking For Signs Of Hope

Edward Lee McDaniel 1976 (Helena,Arkansas)

There are times when I feel like
The four walls are closing in on me
Times when I just need an encouraging sign to continue on
Times when it takes every fiber in my body
To hold on and be strong
Times when I feel overwhelmed by the pressure of the stress
When it seems like everything around me is going wrong
Everyone is fighting their own battles
I understand their hands are tied with their own issues so they are currently unavailable to be there
In times like this everyone has their hands full
Everyone is too busy fighting their own battles to care about your current state of affairs
I hope for better days
I look forward to the sun shining
I tell myself one day things will get better it's all a part of God's timing
I'm looking for signs of hope
Through the eye of the storm
These are the days of my life
I don't like to be the bearer of bad news
I'm finding it hard to keep calm
A ray of hope is what I really need
Can someone please offer some comforting words to encourage me
Can you tell me that everything is going to be alright
I'm looking at the end of the tunnel trying to see the light
Things got to get better
I'm going out of my head
I'm looking for signs of hope
I know hope is not dead
