CONTENTMENT

I found this place , within my Soul
A solemn place , without control

It helps me know , that I am loved
With shining light , from up above

An emotional state, that's hard to find
A dignified place , to ease my mind

The place I am , I now accept
And leave this Earth , with due respect

As happiness calms , my storm's fire
Impending peace , from world's desire

My mind is clear , and free from pain
I do accept and now explain …,

That you have helped me , with your smile
You held my hand now , for awhile

I close my eyes , and breathe my last
You stand there with me , the storm has passed

And as I enter Heaven's gate ,
I'll stand there thanking , contentment's fate
