Bleed

I gave my all over and over again.
In the end I'm not just left with my broken heart but also those of my boys.
I thought you were real and genuine.
But like the others, you were nothing but fake.
I didn't want to fall again.
We were only supposed to be friends.
I guess that's what makes it the hardest. Because I will never get that friendship back. You did the one thing I told you would drive me crazy.
I guess, in a way, I sharpened the knife and handed it to you so that you would stab me in the back.
I don't know if any of what you said was true. You claim to be a narcissist that turned empath.
But you show no empathy while watching me bleed.
Could it be you remain just a narcissist?
After all, you are the type that we attract, so why should that change now.
My theory remains the same.
I told you that I believe you could make me the happiest I have ever been.
But then again, you could also be the one who broke me more than anyone ever did.
I was proven right.
I don't hate you, I never could.
But I will pray that one day you will finally let "that" person love you completely.
No hidden agenda, no drama, no emotions still wrapped up with an ex.
I hope you find happiness and live a long and prospective life.
However, until then, the last image you will ever have of me, is you slowly removing the knife and watching me bleed.
