Black Skinned

Black skinned…

Skin graced in melanin dipped in color from the apothecary of the creator’s own mixtures
how lovely are the multi forms this melanin in wondrous form make …is love this forceful or has my soul become the Sun reaching out my desires like rays to paint you so
Skin the color of charcoal to set generations on fire, and in tone to inspire…rare truffles more valuable than rubies who can afford this richness…
No chocolate ever tasted so good, looked this good or felt this good…goodness I want to see more…
It’s obvious you are the universe from which the stars are born…
in full view of the setting Sun in summers golden Eden
in the land where there is no frost where it all began…
remember it well…before the Sunsets and its heat fades know that you are loved from the place you come from where you can’t hide… I see your tears and remorse
the madness of your pain and the sting of the betrayal…you offered them help and they put chains on your wrist, you taught them natural and they bind you to nature…the echoes of your music still form songs
So, sing to me the music of your days as the night folds to imitate your form
I am like you, and you are like me, and we can make all of it turn into shades...
