A Box Of Poisoned Chocolates

Daemin Cairo 1999 (Cape Town)

A Box of Poisonous Chocolates

Oh ... How I am longing for you
It's hopeful thinking that you're longing for me too
It's been so long since I've heard your voice
I wish you'd calm the voices in my head because all they make is noise
Why did you leave the face of the earth?
I wish you'd be on my doorstep, even if it's with...
A bouquet of toxic roses
A teddy bear that'll suffocate me
A kiss laced with deadly consequences
Or just a Box of Poisonous Chocolates
I don't mind all the bad because I know there was a time when the good was good
I'll always love you, as I should
But come back I'm tired of chasing the wind
And I hope when you're here with me that you'll stay forever and ever.

About this poem

A few years back my ... Well my crush or someone who I dearly loved just ghosted me. I miss him everyday and I wouldn't mind if he came back to me even if it's with "A Box of Poisoned Chocolates". I love and miss him. He was and is still my muse and this poem is just me begging him to come back
