Pandorium

A utopia you and I,
Measured only with our souls.

Each time I reach to you, the crushing blow brings pain and sorrow.

Speaking the words, my choice, mind you, you do not understand.

A push and a shove violent yes, deep down where it cannot be seen. Beyond the depths but quick to cut, deeper than a knife.

Each time I pull you close, wanting to revel in your warmth. You twist and turn and turn to ice. Oh you pull in your needs, then pushing as if your world needs refuge.

You leave your words and explode from further conversation. Left in the dark I cannot see. Reeling it in to translate.
One second so close, the next, well how to feel, a pile of old bones bleached by the sun. Told not to assume.

Praying always for blissful eternity, living in a poverished heart lost from it's Soul. As that part if me walks only with you.

About this poem

When the soul finds its other half, love is spectacular however it carries its own pain. That pain at times can be just as strong. The magic is when you see beyond and can overcome.
