Snowy Day!

I like to watch the snow as it falls down from the sky,
I like to watch the patterns as it goes gliding by !
The garden goes so white as it settles on the trees.
The flowers poke their heads through so it covers all their leaves.
Rooftops all turn white,with icicles galore,
they hang from the windows and all around the door,
Little robin redbreast bobs about with glee,
Making little bird prints and he sings for me !
Indoors the fire's roaring,the flames are big and bright,
Outside the snow is falling and will do through the night,
As the dawn appears and I open up the door,
There in all its glory is the snow-flaked land once more.
Of all the sight's I've ever seen so far in this land,
Best is when the snowflakes make patterns big and grand,
So next time the north winds blow and snow is on its way,
Sit and watch the sights of a snowy winter's day!.....
