Today

Uncertainty owns every second, minute and hour
Only in a shave, sh*t and shower I have any power.
In the midst of another cold season can't even enjoy the flowers
Times seem to fuse, occasions we'll all loose.
We can't choose
Could never regain
pictures missing from pretty frames
Lonely candles missing eyes
From well wishers that can't come by
Family and little ones look sad and cry
Grandparent hoping to enjoy closeness before they die
I pray the new normal looks nothing like this
An elbow bump replacing effectionate
Hugs and kisses.
It feels apocalyptic and emotionally vicious
And on bended I pray God will listen
I know billions must requesting an end within vision.
