New Age

We live in age where virtues are vice,
We live in age where foolish are wise,
We live in age of misses and tries,
We live in age of umpteen true lies.

We live in age where news is fake,
We live in age where fact fabricate,
We live in age where morals are low,
We live in age where money do glow.

We live in age of poor and plenty,
We live in age where full is empty,
We live in age where principles are rare,
We live in age where greed go bare.

We live in age where we might wonder,
If things can change or just surrender,
But history has shown that ages do change,
Though that thought may today look strange.

So if we stand firm for right cause,
Then this age will  be forced to pause.
The day we stop accepting the wrong,
The foundation of new age will lay strong.

Then we can acclaim with all our force,
That this age is back on true course,
We will have new age where facts revives,
And it will be age that ended true lies.

About this poem

Current times are full of contradictions and hypocrisy. True lies are seen like never before as fake can be easily desguide and propagated as truth. The poems searches way to move ahead
