Conquer It All

Jenny Sumpter 1981 (West Virginia)

The trees are swaying and the wind is blowing
Sounds of someone in the distance is mowing
Sitting next to you in this warm gentle breeze
I want to take you in my arms and give you a squeeze
Hearts are singing and dancing in my little blue eyes
You tell me your secrets and I shall tell you no lies
I've loved you ever since day one for as long as I can
And you accepted me and our Journey began
Even when we fall and on the days we stand tall
Together we can Conquer It All.

About this poem

This poem is just a short version of a very long journey it started out simple and sweet and went through some ruff times and truths come out and you are able to get past all of that and stand taller and conquer anything
