A rose for a rose

A rose for a rose

A rose for a rose. My heart for your soul. Rather I be solo
 Because true love is pain,
I should have known.
It means nothing to be in love,
Yet It means everything to love you.

....a rose for a rose,
I guess love comes and goes.
Because no matter how much love I gave to you It never found its way back to me.
Maybe I'm just to young to be in love ... Maybe I should try being free like a dove. Even though love is sweet and has no laws.
I guess everyone still has their own flaws

A rose for a rose.
I thought we were close.
So I tried not to lose you,
But I lost myself in the process.
It hurts being in love But it hurts more to be without you.

A rose for a rose
I recall seeing you and my heart froze
It's hard seeing you leave, Because my heart follows yours wherever it goes...
A rose for a rose...
