I still hope
It’s you
whenever I get a text
And It hurts me every time
And leaves me out of breath

I find my faith in saints with your name
And try to understand
Why the altar by the entrance falls down
Dried flowers spilling on the floor
Every time time I close the door

I died and now I’m waiting
For my own funeral
The crying and lamenting
And the toll of bells
can be heard everywhere these days

But then a friend asks me how I’m doing and I die again and again and again
Because I died
And I still miss you
Samsara has nothing on missing you
