Walking Away
Jhana Bissonnette 1991 (Hawaii)
I thought friends
Was supposed to last forever
until you left a hole
In my chest
where my heart was suppose to be whole
I didn't want this to be a war
But you caused me pain
That's why this damage
is hard to cover up
Everytime i say
This will be the last time
I'll let you back in
even with all
the danger signs
That I ignored
But that's gonna change
This time i'm gonna keep this wall up
You won't be able to kick down
This fire you started
kept burning
I'm not going to build this fire
I'm gonna splash it with water
And walk away
