Candy

Chocolate, Carmel, Gummies
So sweet, so yummy
It softens the pain
Licorice, Gum, Cotton candy
It all helps me
My tummy wants more

I grab them from the bowl and suddenly
No more
They're all gone
They all left me and now there’s no more
It was my own fault
If I just had slowed my emotions down
Then maybe there would still be some left

I look in all the drawers
No more candy
It’s all gone
If I wanted, I could just find some more
But it will never be the same as the ones there was her before.
