Time

Shruti Verma 2004 (Indore)

Time isn’t perfect.
It’s not neat and tidy.
It’s not a straight line.
It’s not a precise science.
It overlaps and crosses over and splinters and gets lost.
It’s not a concept!
Sometimes it’s a spark.
Sometimes it’s a fire.
Sometimes it’s a moment.
Sometimes it’s an eternity.

About this poem

The perception of time, clock is time to us but if we think about it, time is so much more. So very different to us all. It affects us in different ways and we perceive it differently.
