The Touch of a Bird

Death dawned nigh during December
It was all that I could remember
Nights were brisk and bleak
The world had seemed to stop

Tears were shed, I was weak
Embodiment of a raindrop
I’m lost.
Everything is falling apart

Shining shimmering light
Like a smack on the cheek
I question my sight
As I took a peek

A majestic pretty little bird perches on my filthy soul
I desperately cling onto the little bird
The little bird left to hibernate
I love you
