Roses are red, Violets are blue.
I met a girl; she looks like you.
Roses are red, flowers smell sweet.
She makes my world all warm and complete.
Roses are red, so is her hair.
I’d like to be near her, life isn’t fair.
Roses are red, I have my fears.
My pillow each night is covered in tears.
Roses are red, my heart will dream.
To God on my knees, “I love her!” I’ll scream.
Roses are red, Violets are blue.
I met a girl; she looks like you.
