Hit or Miss

The feeling returns like a woodpecker on my head
Ill never make it they say, voices by demons led
This dream unlikely to manifest
Fathers wishes prevailing? Mine just a can of fish

The truth I have spoken
Would touch those whom are broken
How to reach them Id say
When demons own the fields in which they lay

I made an offer of which I got cold feet
To lead the world astray is not the Jesus way
A deal was it made?
The Fathers hands I cannot shake

Wishing for a triumphant
But the blocks larger than elephants
This Goliath wont stay down, If I had a crown
I could order it to drown

Church was the route, but I was kicked out
One man with power wants me out of town
As if I was the harlot and the beast
With pitchforks my heart was beat

If I see no path to where will I walk
These trees wont talk no fairy to guide me
In the meadows I am lost, this forest full of chaos
Darkness has won, less a hero comes along

Battles won with words
Ill use the Father as my sword
Sharpen my tale lifted up by gales
Around the world and back, now I feel so trapped

Father if You wont send angels
To burn all that opposes me
I cannot walk down this path
If You are not there for me

The world might stand against me
Not equipped I say unto thee
Rest assured that this is defeating
I know not thus, why my heart still beating

Grown not for this, my soul forged in the abyss
I cant live so plainly, walking insanely
Tribulations faced, trials Ive braced
My life meant for more than coffee and Netflix

Reveal to me the gates of betwixt
I look beyond further than games in the mix
To shout so loud, the stars would benefit
From the words You lay, unleash angels being made

Like not this stay, of angels ready to hit
My life feels like one giant miss, I’m ready to split
Snakes in Hollywood, all I hear is hiss
Show me please, what more to all of this
