Old Genes
Sarah Rayan 1982 (Kuwait City)
If the moon takes the sun back
and they both always shine
Each day, as a matter of fact
One day you'll be mine
They say old genes can come back
Old flames, they still don't know
They say old genes can surface again
Old flames may never show
But some of them are wrong
Old genes cannot return
They were always here
and stars will always burn
They say old genes can come back
Old flames, they still don't know
They say old genes can surface again
Old flames may never show
