Memories in a stake

Memories are our lifeline to our past,
But for some people they dont seem to last.
When were a child we consume all,
Even from that first bounce of a ball.
Life moves on and so do we,
Some hope to be all we could be.
When we get older we reminisce of times gone by,
We smile, we cry and sometimes we wonder why.
I pray we can keep all our memories in tact,
Then we can keep them all in a stack.
