Free verse
In a maze
I roam

Seeing the set path ahead
I don't like it
Trying to figure a way to get out

Take a left dead end
Take a right dead end

Taking a breath
I freeze

Knowing the path is straight ahead
I take a step straight

Dead end

I stop and take a moment
Stuck in place
Waiting for a spot to open up

So I can step through

About this poem

In an endless house I roam around to find the end. I can see it but its far out of reach.
