In The Days

We’re in the days, where hearts wax cold.
Biblical days, that were foretold.
Every way seems right, in our own eyes.
Let’s look to You Lord, and be wise.

We’re in the days, that we’re divided.
In our flesh, we are misguided.
We’re in the days, of violence and hate.
Let our crooked paths be made straight.

In this world of hate, let us be kind.
In this world of confusion, renew our minds.
In this world of doubt, help us believe.
When we don’t know, help us perceive.

In this world of pride, keep us humble.
In this world of temptation, don’t let us stumble.
In this world of darkness, don’t let us fear.
Draw us closer, keep us near.

We’re in the days, where pandemics rise.
Why do these days, catch us by surprise.
We’re in the days, of floods, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanic eruptions,  and famines. And everyone still, is chasing mammon.

We’re in the days, that our hearts yearn.
We look for the day, that Christ returns.
We’re in the days, where it’s time to reap.
Let’s rise and shine, out of our sleep.

In this world of sickness, You make us whole.
Though floods may rise, You’re in control.
In this world of famine, we're satisfied.
We are rich because You provide.

We’re in the days, that our hearts yearn.
We look for the day, that Christ returns.
We’re in the days, where it’s time to reap.
Let’s rise and shine, out of our sleep.
