The Gospel Truth

I'm not saved by my works, my good looks, nor my charming quirks.

I'm not saved by anything I own, save Jesus Christ, the Cornerstone.

He paid the price and died for me, Now, forever I am free.
I suffer no loss because of what He did, upon the cross.

Three days later He rose from the grave, and every sinner, he did save.

If you want Salvation, you can receive, but only if you believe.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. - John 3:16

Just because, I've been saved by grace.
Doesn't mean sin, I should embrace.

I make mistakes, and I fall short.
But to willfully sin, I should not sport.

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? - Romans 6:1-2

About this poem

We are all bought by the blood of Jesus, but that doesn't give us the right to willfully sin.
