Sitting at the table

Sitting at the table
Thinking how blessed I am
Seeing the homeless people
In the mornings
Eating out trash cans
At times I carry dollar bills
Just to give them some
Other times I carry crackers
To give some packs
Or one
Sometimes I carry nothing
But share encouraging words
The words that touched
My heart
Like Jesus really saves
Ask God to forgive you
And help you start again
Tell  him Jesus Christ died
For you to begin again
To free you from your old life
And help you live again
