Being Replaced
Being replaced by someone that I love, I realized that all the things I did for her meant nothing.
It hurt like hell when I saw her slowly moving away from me, her warm and caressing presence was leaving and all I could do was watch as she left.
I know that the person she picked is better in all sorts of ways but I threw everything away for her and apparently all the time and energy that was put into this friendship went into the trash. My heart broke into tiny little pieces, it crumbled never being put back together again, all because I had let someone in so close, but I didn’t know just how easy I was to replace.
I watch them do the things we would do together,
all the fun activities and crazy moments we cherished, she was now making memories with someone else, she had forgotten about me and still I couldn’t do anything.
I awaited for an endless winter where my soul was as cold as ice, frozen forever. More barriers, more barriers never ever let anybody in your mind again, never place your trust in anyone, they don’t care, they will leave you…
I sit thinking and thinking about all the fun memories we had made together but there was no point in keeping them anymore because she had forgot about them so the link was broken, my memories slowly drifted further and further away into space and now the memories I had of her were me crying wondering if I'll ever be good enough again.
The truth was, I wasn’t and I would never be :(
