Wishing For The Best

Wishing for the best of life,
Blessed to live it and get?
Takes an investment,
Of decisions to make.
Whether it is things to possess.
For the purpose to impress.
Or is it to feel as one ages...
One has no regrets.
Taking risks and chances.
On a path to adventure,
Without knowing what comes next.
Then to acknowledge,
Something done has been accomplished.
Done to accept and realize.
If it had not been for faith.
And the belief one keeps kept in self?
Like most who wish yet stay to sit,
Reminiscing time to have wasted it.
Only to look back,
Claiming...
If they had their druthers,
They would have done...
What they wanted to do.
Instead of listening to others complain,
About what it was...
They wished to have done.
Instead of paying attention to those,
Fearing challenges and obstacles.
Not to have faced them.
But heard about what they should fear,
Ignore and avoid!

'Some people have all the luck!'

'Could they be the same people,
Who got up off their butts?
With a doing to take risks and chances?
To realize nothing is guaranteed,
Without investing as if tirelessly...
In making efforts to endeavor,
Their wishes to want them come true?
Could they be the lucky ones,
You have been sitting and talking about?'

'Yep!
I heard how easy they had it.
Getting what they wanted.
From everyone who did it for them!'

'And...
Who were the ones,
That cleared and paved that path?
Have those born with that kind of luck,
Tell you that?'

'No.
But...
That's what I heard.'

'Oh.
And where are the ones,
Who told you that?
What do they do?'

'I have no clue.
We only sit and talk about,
Those who are lucky.
You know...
The ones who have it easy.
Doing nothing to get,
Their wants to wish them!'

'I know what you mean.
And people like that,
No one ever sees them around...
Doing the nothing they do, too!'

'That's what am saying.
That's how lucky they are!'
