Mitchell Ryan Hagen 1992 (Vancouver)

The answers in life are just to hard to find.

Make a wild guess or be left behind.

Or sit and overthink and slowly destroy your mind.

Why must these answers always be so hard?

Why must I put up these walls and always be on guard?

The answers in life are just to hard to find.

It would seem in most situations that I'm blind,

Yet here I stand, to always be so kind.

Why must I endure when it's so easy to quit?

Why must I try, when they dont give a shit?

The answers in life are just to hard to find.

Every day a new struggle, every day a new grind.

Every day a new promise, a new contract to sign.

Why must I be a slave to a system that doesn't care?

Why must I commit to living? It just doesn't seem fair.

The answers in life are just to hard to find.

When I make a mistake, and be left in a bind,

I wish I could take a step back, and just press rewind.

These questions I feel will never have an answer,

But all these thoughts will just keep spreading like cancer.
