I am enough

Whilst your busy making yourself feel better by bringing me down,
I’m busy building walls around my private town.
Whilst you pick away at every fault,
I rebuild brick by brick as I pick myself up.
Whilst you flaunt your many skills superior to the rest,
I’m busy learning new ways to broaden my chest.
Whilst you say you love me and plan to build our nest,
I know deep down I’m as insignificant as the rest.
And whilst you sit alone wondering how your many superiorities let you down,
I will be happy at last smiling from my castle in my town, finally wearing the crown.
