BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL

Brother kwaku Bright 2000 (Kasoa)

 Black is beautiful
  Black is cherished
When I see people bleaching their skin
I cry deeply for they are losing a precious identity

I look closely to myself
I feel proud for I am black
Fruit if inheritance from our ancestors
How they cherished their colour
    Black is beautiful

But how this generation hates their given identity
Destroying the footsteps that portrays them
Yet cherished by non blacks
I pity for my generation
   Black is beautiful
