Harmattan

Hope the  harmattan is kind to you.
It comes with cold and broken heels
It might smile at you with its brown teeth wearing a cracked lips
pretending to be  more fierce than the winter,
stand your ground my sister, hold fast,
Alas! a season that comes and goes just like a dream.
Harmattan could be so so sweet for me,
The sleepless nights are over, my very own winter, breezing with brazen of Christmas.
I love the  feeling it gives, the nostalgic feelings it brings.
The memory of childhood of gathering around  the fire in my mother's tattered kitchen
The feeling of siblings gathering all around me
Sharing and boozing with love.
The  moment that will never  again  be seen
As we dispatched to embrace the reality the outer space brings.
Harmattan is the phase of life.
Nature in its mastering, the dusty of celebrations the moonlight of folktales
Harmattan please take your seat.
