Butterflies

They say that whenever you're in love,
You get the feeling that butterflies are in your stomach.
I honestly don't know how I'm still standing if that's true.
If that really was love I felt towards you,
those butterflies must've carried a sickness so deadly that it caused my heart to drop when you texted.
Their wings similar to razors, slicing me up from the inside out.
Your love was nothing but toxic.
