ONCE UPON A MOMENT IN TIME

Once upon a moment in time
Does your heart, like mine, in the twilight hours show you pictures of moments long passed?  D they fill your dreams with wisperes of songsthat once told us that by holding love tight it would last?
These times of our lives, these scenes, painted on living cloth woven from the fragile fiber of our thoughtsbecome the backdrops in memories that,in time erase the pain of love's loss, as we welcome them back now and then without fear from where we keep the love of other so near.
My long ago love, my forever dear friend, dwell not on what might have been if we'd held tight each others dreams but, listen closely to your heart as it remembers all of life's passionate schemes.
Understand as I that if not for our moments in timethere never would have remained this warm emptiness to remind us of how once a love burned brightly, and long enough to guide us each on our way again.
