Happiness By The Wayside

Who will ever know
1000 reasons not to..
complicated, yep
daunting, yep
selfish, yep
risky, yep
difficult, yep
etc...etc...etc
Would it have been worth it?
So I thought, so I believed
So many reasons not to and you thought of them all
Shouldn't/Couldn't/Wouldn't
A final decision made...declared...cemented
All that is left are thoughts of what might have been
We will endure different types of pain
But one remains the same
We both lost the other
