Run Away Shadows

Valerie L. Morrison 1962 (Philadelphia)

Run away shadows
Fore I have no more use for you
The twinkling whispers of the burning candles calling my name
The weeping sounds of the violin playing my favorite concerto
To a love that was forever promised- But, never received
The art of love making- gravely deceived
Run away shadows, fore I have no further use of you
Dawn has come, and Life has closed it's door-Adieu

About this poem
