Burn Love

Esma CS 2000

Love is not what I expected
But my heart is totally infected
By warm and fuzzy emotion
It made my life a commotion

I told him "I love you"
He replied "Me too"
It was never heartfelt
Very much misspelt

He is a door made of rock
I tried to open it with a knock
It made me burn inside out
Showed him my earnest doubt

You tell me what should I do
Leave him or ruin myself

About this poem

This is my first attempt in writing a poem. I hope this is not a mistake.
