Innerchild

I turned to face her

As I expected fear in her eyes But to my surprise All I could see was pity She looked at me blankly I couldn't understand What was going inside her She knew why I was here She gave me an uneasy smile In which I could sense the pain she was hiding She gave me the permission to kill But little did I knew

I was killing my innerchild
