Just like me
You come to me with a problem at heart
I tell you to tell it from the start
You say you accidently broke a trust
I look at my heart on the shelf; filled with dust

You say it was between you and another
I thought oh god, why do i bother
I made a comment and she began to cry

You say a line I have heard many times before
I start to feel like the mat beneath your door
Why did her reaction to it break you so
When i feel like that too; dont you know?
You cant take that you sad, made her be
Why? when that’s a feeling you so often give to me

I say with a broken heart string to your face
That there is no fault of yours there to trace
She was probably already sad; is what i say
Just like me, every day
