I love you

I love you
I know you do too
I can tell cause you always act so shy
I don't know why but you catch my eye
It might be your smile,
or tuft of black hair,
your caramel skin tone,
or your gentle stare
I asked you out,
I gave you time to answer
Now I know you like me back
I have no doubt,
that you'll say yes
It's pretty obvious, you want to say it

I miss you already,
now that we're apart
I only see you at school
I guess I'll have to wait
to see your face
I love you
you know I do
My friend blurted it out
It didn't bother you I could tell
because you didn't show a sign
of showing me that you weren't well

I have so many questions to ask
I wish that you could answer
Do I ever cross your mind?
Just maybe a little
Am I ever in your dreams
when you close your eyes?
I knew I loved you,
when I saw your bright smile
I hope you say yes,
to the question I've been asking
If you do I'll address,
the feelings I've been masking
I love you
I know you love me too
so don't you try to hide it
look me in the eyes,
don't be shy
and say I love you

I'll adr

About this poem

This poem is about my love for my crush. I'm new to writing poetry, so my words might be a little amature. I hope you all enjoy this poem and feel the feelings I put into it too.
