Edge of the River

Edge of the River 2004 (Port Harcourt)

He mingled I fell, charming, that is all I could sight from afar.
Attention I get from a mysterious balls, miles away from me, but I feel the want.
Desperation is how I feel of his touch, his undying want for me, made me step into the edge.
My rule book had been broken, cause everything i want is indeed set on his features.

Oh! Feels like again the lonely days, when I would stare at the world moving each day and I in it.
What an unbalanced life, I want to run, run to my desperation, feels like falling from an edge.
Planning an escape to my mysterious balls, the glint of happiness filtering back to me.
Joyfully running to my attention, oh what a waste. I was happy, but it turned to dust.
What do I tell my mysterious balls?

Folks, at a tender age desire to keep me locked up.
I stamp my foot, I twitch my nose, bit of my tongue, hit the wall. Oh! I can not run.
The day I plan to run the day folk plan to keep me isolated, Indeed willing to fight all the odds.
When did my life turn to a battle. Miles I want to go for my mysterious balls, For my love.
Now I fall from the edge of the river.
