Milo Mikus 2008 (N.C)
The yelling of all those nights of fighting still haunts me like the ghost of your echoing voice in my ears as I longed for silence to wash over the night sky.
If I must not lie I miss those nights when I would cry the night away and you and only you would hold me and tell me I was fine when we both knew it was a lie.
I dread the silence of the night for reasons i still wish i did not know but the deadly hollow of this house i call home is crumbling down i still remember when this was a safe haven that i can still no longer say
“this is where i wanna stay”.
His voice is no longer horse but still not as sweet as the honey your voice holds. His voice is like a never ending nightmare of past actions I still hold in this big library I still call home, the viscus acts he had done still haunt him like a raging fire of guilt.
But I do not wish to hold it over his head like a teasing fox with a snow rabbit. I shall forgive but never forget those nights he engraved in my head.
I still love this little house i call home
